Description: Antique 1920's Art Deco 9” x7” Print in Original Frame with Glass by Tsanya Marigold (Marygold) aka Marion Crowe Original frame. This print is an surprisingly excellent condition, considering it's age of 100 years, no tears, discoloration, or bending. Art by Tsanya was born 2nd April 1892. Marion was an Art Deco Artist whose focus was on fantasy paintings with characters such as fairies. She worked under the pseudonyms Marygold (Marigold) or Tsanya, which some of her works are signed as. Marion was also an advocate for animal welfare in the UK from the 1930s on. The Studio was a focal point for animal welfare and re-homing. Many of Marion’s paintings were auctioned to finance animal welfare. She died in 1979.
