Description: For sale is a reticulated plate made by KPM in the 18th century . KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The plate is hand painted with a large floral arrangement in the center as well as 3 smaller flowers and three smaller arrangements on the rim. Nice basket weave design to the entire plate which looks very stunning. The plate is in great condition with a touch of wear to the central flowers, a small chip in the reticulated area (not obvious when displayed at all, a flat chip to the underside rim (mostly the glaze) and an almost chip to the foot ring. The piece is 1.5 inches tall and 9.25 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark.
