Description: Very rare original antique 1879 Odd Fellows book, "Constitution, By-Laws and Rules of Vermont Lodge No.2, of the Independent Order of Odd-Fellows, Montpelier, VT." The book is overall in very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. It is bound in flexible cloth covered boards. The covers have some mild wear. The binding is good and sound. There is a narrow strip of white paper adhered to the back pastedown. The interior is lightly toned from age with some occasional light foxing and grubbiness. A page or two has a creased corner. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of minor imperfection, such as a tiny chip or tear, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book is a small slim volume which measures approximately 5 5/8 inches by 3 3/4 inches and is 43 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
