Description: A heavy and thick antique hand blown green glass Coffin or Case gin bottle. The green bottle of tapering form with short squat neck and thick textured glass. The bottle has an attractive olive green colour with iridescence to the surface. I am unsure of the age of the bottle, possibly as early as 17th century. Maximum height 21.5cm, base width 6.1cm. The glass bottle in overall good condition, some texture and nibbling around the rim possibly from the manufacture, however this does not detract. Some light surface wear as expected with age, the surface with an attractive iridescence when causing in the light. A tactile and decorative bottle which displays well.
