Description: In 1934, this dinner set was given to the wedding couple as a gift. We have the original card given at the time. This was a huge service India Tree pattern china made by Alfred Meakin in the Medina shape. The pattern displays the tree in the center with a heavy gold interior border completed with a gold Greek key rim. It is a service for eight complete with serving pieces. The set was used on special holidays and occasions and stored in her china cabinet. We are selling the different pieces in sets of eight or six or four. The platter is in very good to excellent estate found condition with no chips, cracks. 16 1/2" long x 13" wide.
