Description: AICS Fixed Magazine Single Shot For 308 / 6.5 Creedmoor Bolt Action Rifles. The SHORTEST yet! *Previous design was sized similar to a 5rd box mag housing. This last design was 1 inch shorter in height to allow a closer to flush with the bottom of the magazine well. With this being shorter, it will have less surface area to grab when trying to remove the magazine block. This NEW Design is even 1 3/4” shorter than the previous design update, making the magazine barely stick out from the magazine well. So this item I’ve created is for anyone using an AICS (Accuracy International Chassis System) style magazine. Typically this design was for a bolt action style rifle. This would be considered a short action designed around a .308 Winchester cartridge, which also allows a 6.5 Creedomoor to operate as well. This will lock in the magazine well and allow breech loading single rounds to work without any issues. Open bolt, drop round on top of the shelf, close bolt and go! I’ve tested this on a modified Rem700 in .308 Win and it does exactly what was described. This does not and cannot hold more than 1 round. This design is very similar to the Magpul sized magazine in terms of fit and connection in the magwell. If a Magpul magazine won’t fit, this won’t either! Please see last 2 photos of the measurements for this item. Make sure your magwell has enough clearance for this, otherwise the block will fit all the way and you won’t be able to pull it out.
