This illustration appeared on several U.S. Postal Cards over a long period of time; I have used examples from 1949 thru 1957. The card you purchase may have a slightly diferent front, but the illustration & message will be the same as in the scan. The card you receive will be in excellent condition for a postally used card. Computer scans often show darker or lighter areas which aren't on the actual item, and the larger the object to be scanned, the more areas will be affected. Plus, I scan using a "cover sheet" to hold the item in place, and the plastic cover sheet can create glare. ALWAYS GO WITH THE DESCRIPTION!
