Description: Adjusting shaft for a vintage Delta 6” short bed jointer All new CNC machined threaded adjusting shaft for raising and lowering the front and rear beds on a vintage Delta 6” short bed jointer. The jointer model these fit is Delta #37-205 and #37-207. This is the vintage Delta 6” short bed jointer that has a crank handle under each end of the work table. The original Delta part numbers for this shaft and nut are NJ-206 and NJ-207. One shaft and one nut are included in this offering. The nut and threaded shaft are the same for both the infeed and outfeed ends of the jointer. Two sets are required to complete a total rebuild of the short bed jointer. Many refurbishing projects find these shafts corroded or bent. The parts are brand new and have been CNC machined from C1018 steel stock. Once completed, the shaft and the nuts were black oxide plated for increased corrosion protection and appearance.The shafts are have a 7/16-14 right hand thread and have been milled with a flat area where the crank handle setscrew seats. This offering is for one shaft and one nut. Both front and rear adjusting shafts on the vintage Delta 6" short bed jointer are the same part number.
