Its round shape and vibrant multicolor floral and ribbon pattern make it a great decorative piece for any occasion. The bowl has a diameter of 5.25" and is made of high-quality porcelain. This antique bowl is an original production style transfer ware and was manufactured in the United Kingdom during the late 19th century. It features a printed backstamp and is part of the Lyons product line. Perfect for all occasions, this bowl is a great way to add a touch of history to any table setting. William Alsager Adderley (W. A. A.) began working in pottery shops in the early 1850s. After his business partners died, he started a business of his own in December 1874. Adderley's porcelain and earthenware items were manufactured at the Daisy Bank Pottery, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. In 1886, the company was renamed W. A. Adderley & Co. and in 1906, Adderleys Ltd. According to the backstamp history, these bowls bear the Lyons Trade Mark indicating they were made between 1875 and 1885. There are no chips or cracks
