Description: for sale here is a stunning and looks to be unused little orvis CFOV trout fly fishing reel , i cant even begin to tell you how rare it is to find these in this condition , its built for orvis by hardys of alnwick , 3.5" size , multi perforated lightweight foot (no rod fitting marks) , multi perforated lightweight frame and spool too , double sided nickel silver lineguard , lovely silver infill to engraving , 2 screw drum release with correct plain alloy latch covers , rear tension , left or right wind , pretty much 99% immaculate , although it looks to be unused there is just a couple of tiny little age related paint blister specks as can be seen , only very very small though and bear in mind the reel is likely over 30 years old , incredibly fine and rare little lot this one , finest hardys built quality throughout...hardys did not make many reels for many other companies thats why these are so rare and this was not a model they made for very long until orvis decided to use cheaper overseas companies. fully checked and serviced etc and ready to use, comes with matching unused spare spool which has its little hardy black plastic cog protector , excellent lot this one...all fully serviced and ready to use please also view more excellent items on my other ebay account , ebay username is jennywrentackle if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reelobviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
