Description: PLEASE NOTE: I’m not a professional grader but have over 40 years of collecting, trading & selling comic books & other collectibles. Please read description in 3rd paragraph. Please view all photos & ask any questions you may have. Grading is not a science. The impact or the importance of flaws to a book can vary from person to person. I may feel a faint water stain on the back cover is minor where someone else feels it’s more of a major defect. What I may think is a 6.0 or 6.5 someone else may think it’s a 5.0 or 5.5. I try to note what I feel are the most notable of defects and give honest grade ranges. I’m not trying to hide anything, I just may think something is not as major as someone else. Please do not purchase if you disagree or like to debate grade ranges. Purchase professionally graded comics then. I see the poorly graded comics listed out there. Also it is not my concern how the book can possibly be improved or not improved by a pressing, cleaning or any other restoration. Thank you and sorry for the rant. Oh and thank you to all the moron sellers that copy my titles exactly. Weak. Well they say imitation is the highest form of flattery. And I really didn’t think I needed to address this but PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING then want to return it because you didn’t like it or it’s not what you expected. Look. Read. Ask questions. And don’t make up stuff about item not being vintage or authentic when you have no idea what you are talking about. Offered up from my personal collection is a “ULTRA RARE” (LOT OF 8) VINTAGE DOC SAVAGE DOUBLE VOLUME PAPERBACKS. Published by Bantam Books in the 1980s. First Printings. By Kenneth Robeson. THE MAN OF BRONZE FEARS NO ENEMY… TWO COMPLETE ADVENTURES IN ONE VOLUME. Includes: #97 SATAN BLACK & #98 CARGO UNKNOWN. #99 HELL BELOW & #100 THE LOST GIANT. #103 THE WHISKER OF HERCULES & #104 THE MAN WHO WAS SCARED. #105 THEY DIED TWICE & #106 THE SCREAMING MAN. #109 THE SHAPE OF TERROR & #110 DEATH HAD YELLOW EYES. #117 THE GOLDEN MAN & #118 PERIL IN THE NORTH. #119 THE LAUGH OF DEATH & #120 THE KING OF TERROR. #123 DEVILS OF THE DEEP & #124 THE HEADLESS MEN. Vintage “KEY” DOC SAVAGE paperbacks and a “MUST HAVE” for any Vintage Paperback, Pulp and DOC SAVAGE completist/collector. In my estimation the books range in “VERY NICE” (5.5) FINE- to (6.5) FINE+ condition with off-white to medium/dark cream pages. Very moderate wear to covers, spines, corners & edges. One book has a name written on inside front cover. All books have some age discoloration/staining/soiling. Very tight, sharp, bright & glossy looking copies. There are no other glaring flaws to note, that is not typical to books falling under the indicated grade ranges or visible in pictures. I am not a professional grader but grade very conservatively using The Overstreet Price Guide as reference and my 40+ years of comic book collecting/selling experience. Pictures are of the actual book you will receive. No stock photos. All books come bagged. Books are packed with care by a lifelong collector. All items are shipped “FREE” of charge. Items are boxed shipped using USPS Priority Mail and includes tracking & insurance. PLEASE NOTE: Items $500 and over will require signature confirmation. All sales are final. No returns.
