It is the Americana Issue with National Bureau precancel (bars only) type 1.3 coils. The engraved and untagged side coils are all perf. 10. vert. The Americana coil series ran from years 1975 - 1981 right through our nation's Bicentennial. The coil set is sometime broken up into 2 parts because the last 2 stamps were printed later in the early '80s. Americana coils were also printed with City type and Special Service overprints (sold separately). Many of these beautiful stamps have very fine centering. There is a 30% premium for VF but we offer better quality at our regular low price! Mint never hinged Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) precancels are less common than used. There is renewed interest in mint never hinged precanceled USA material from this era.
