This soft, red and blue striped strap has a worn look to it because of the shaded red fibers, they look faaded because of the light to dark dying of the dull red cotton fibers. The colonial blue stripe adds to the ambience of this strap. It measures approximately 29 inches in woven length, not including the fringe. It is 1 and 1/8 inches wide. The colors are varigated light to medium reds and colonial blue. This strap is light and strong. Soft. It was hand woven on an inkle loom. Made by skilled weavers hands in the USA. If you prefer to use it without the fringes for your possibles bag or other things, you just need to sew over the end several times before cutting off the fringes to prevent it from fraying. It is back woven several times to prevent fraying but if you want to sew leather tabs or laces on, it will wear better of you stitch back and forth over the ends for security.
