I have been getting some beautiful eggs from this cross and am very “egg”cited because it has taken me years of selective breeding to reach this color of egg The complicated stuff: if you receive a blue egg as an EXTRA, it is an opal legbar egg fertilized by a black copper maran and will hatch an F1 (1st generation)Olive egger. I’m only sending these as an extra if I have any. You are purchasing the below If it is a light colored olive egg, it is an F1 Olive egger back crossed (BC) with a black copper maran and will hatch a BC1 (back cross 1st generation) Olive egger with a 50% chance of laying a dark olive/moss egg and 50% chance of laying a brown egg. I cannot be responsible for hatch rates as things are out of my control once the eggs are shipped including rough handling, X-rays etc. I package the eggs in 4 inch thick foam as shown in the photos (eggs in the packaged photo are not the eggs for this listing, just simply showing my packaging method). Out of over 75+ previously shipped egg sales I’ve only ever had one shipment with broken eggs. The buyer immediately took photos and filed a claim through usps and incubated the couple unbroken eggs that were left and still had some hatch 🐣 I do check for fertility regularly and take shipping quality eggs out very serious.
