These look like glass (please disregard any photos that tend to show color as a light lavender - it must be a reflection as these are quite clear like fine glass). They are weighty, sturdy, and smooth in the hand. They are not your inexpensive snap-on-stem disposable party glasses. These are perfect for fine dining and entertaining at the spa, pool, or beach...... anywhere glass is not allowed, but a sense of sophistication is desired. Excellent for patio parties and backyard entertaining! This set of six have been used very gently, if at all, and only quite fine, small scratches are noted upon close inspection when held up to the light. Handwashing and drying recommended same as fine glass. Measurements: 8.25" tall and 3.5" across the bowl. EACH glass is a weighty 9 ounces EMPTY ..... heavier than most glass goblets.
