Description: For your considertaion is a vintage lot of three folk art hand painted wooden boxes with lids. This wood is thin and bent to make the circle boxes. I believe these are from the 1970's. Made in Taiwan. One has a horse, one an Angel, and one a chicken. They nest inside one another. The wood has no chips, cracks, or repairs. Lids all close nicely. The paint is in good condition. The largest measures 8" x 6.5" x 3" tall. Middle one is 7" x 5.75" x 2.75" tall. This one has some dark varnish on the bottom of it. Small one is 6" x 5" x 2.5". Disclaimer: I find antique and collectible items at estate sales or auctions so the majority of the items that I sell are vintage and may show signs of normal wear and age. It is important that you examine items carefully before bidding. Remember that vintage is not new or mint. Unless otherwise stated, items will have age related wear. These are usually items that are no longer manufactured or available by retail. They may be dusty or dirty from years of storage. Items are sold in the same condition that I find them so as not to damage any finishes; some items may need additional cleaning. Heavy cleaning is left to the buyer’s discretion.
