Description: Excellent 1945 Universal Pictures western starring Gary Cooper as a mellow cowboy named Melody Jones who wanders into a small town and is mistaken for a notorious killer. Loretta Young rescues him from the mob and Cooper falls for her, but she may have her own devious plans for him. William Demarest, Dan Duryea, Frank Sully, Lane Chandler co-star. Gary Cooper also produced this film, one of the few times he was on the other side of the camera. This listing is for the three 11 x 14-inch glossy photo stills shown above. These were produced for the film in addition to a standard lobby card set, which was a bit unusual (as there was also a standard 8 x 10-inch still set.) These seem quite rare compared to the lobby cards and other stills.
