Description: 2024 SARRACENIA SEEDS: SCARLET BELLE X DAINA’S DELIGHT [CARNIVOROUS PLANT SEED] Code: 320: 24HH36 This listing includes: One pack of approximately 30 Sarracenia seeds from the following cross: Mother (pod) plant: S. ‘Scarlet Belle’ A classic cultivar involving psittacina and leucophylla. Colorful, reliable, and super hardy. Pitchers are produced all growing season long and last well into the following growing season. Expect most of its offspring to be able to consistently produce pitchers that are colorful and long-lasting. Father (pollen) plant: S. Daina’s Delight A plant that has been in the hobby for a long time. It is lecuo dominant, but has strong spring and fall growth. Pitchers usually have white with brilliant pink and red. Colors are especially vibrant and neon in fall as the temperatures drop. 1st picture shows the two parent plants. 2nd picture shows the mother (pod) parent. 3rd picture shows the father (pollen) parent. 4th picture shows an example of the seeds you will get (not the quantity). 5th picture shows an example of how I bag my Sarracenia flowers in the spring. This cross was made in the Spring of 2024 and the seeds were harvested when ripe later in the same year. The cross was done carefully by hand. All manual crosses had bagged flowers to avoid any unwanted pollen contamination by nature. After harvest and drying, the seeds have been stored dry in the fridge to maximize longevity and viability. These seeds have NOT been stratified. You will need to do that yourself. I have been growing Sarracenia for 15 years and my goal is to make quality seeds and plants affordable to anyone that is interested in growing these amazing plants.
