2 - General Electric Citizen Band Transceiver 40 Ch HandHeld CB Radios 3-5980A

Description: This is for 2 General Electric 3-5980A handheld CB radio with 40 channels in gray color. They are a portable transceiver designed for citizen band communication. The radio is manufactured in the Philippines and branded by GE. The first one seems in pretty good pre-owned condition. I loaded batteries, and it turned on, and I had to move the squeltch button a bit, and I could hear some faint talking on a couple of channels. The second one, I had to hold the talk button in for it to light up. The battery compartment has corrosion on the bottom plate. It may be could be fixed if you are into radio electronic stuff. I purchased these at a local estate sale, and I thought one looked kind of new. I am selling them both together as is because I don't know much about vintage CB radios.
