Description: This vintage pair of Alfred Dunhill table lighters are a must-have for any collector of tobacciana. The original owner had named this pair ZOR & ZAM after a Monkees song of the same name. I’ll selling them as a set because they’ve been together for almost 60 years. Crafted by German manufacturer Erhard Sohne in the 1960s, these lighters feature intricate fire-breathing dragon designs sure to impress. The brand name Dunhill is synonymous with quality and sophistication, making these lighters a perfect addition to any collection. These Asian motif “ Fire Breathing Dragon lighters were produced in Germany by Erhard & Sohne during the 1960's and are quite rare. Crafted in cast bronze with a verdigris original patina and polished highlights. The design features flame generated by the trapezoidal lever (not tested, but the mechanism appears to be in operating condition). These two lighters each measure approximately 8 ½" long, 3" high and 3 ¼" wide at the legs. The finish is in very good condition with little wear. These VERY hard-to-find lighter s would make a great addition to your collection of vintage Tobacciana or Mid Century Modern decorative arts.
