Description: Here is a lovely antique chapbook of poems by some of the greatest poets the world has ever known. This is Sunny Hours edited by Virginia Clarke published by Regensteiner C. Co. in 1914. This is most likely a first and only edition as little chapbooks such as this gem were rarely reprinted. This is a soft cover book hand bound with the original grey ribbon and is in excellent condition. Remember this little book is one hundred and ten years old. It contains works by such illustrious talents as Emerson, Blake, Tennyson, Campion among many, many others. The front cover has retained much if not all of its original colors and as shown there is a spot where a previous book seller’s price stick was removed. This spine is creaseless with the spine ends and four corners showing the expected wear a chapbook this age would possess. When you stop and think about it , it’s a wonder it has even survived time. A most impressive copy for sure. Please see all pics and ask any questions you may have and as always I never list ex library or book club editions so buy with confidence. And please check out my 100% positive seller feedback!!! Thanks for looking.
