Description: For Sale 1990’s, maybe 1992, Merlin Titanium Mountain Bike. I'm a bike mechanic and I bought this bike as a fun vintage project bike from a regular of the store. I was hoping to ride it on our local river trails but was only able to do 3 rides before realizing its a little too big. I completely overhauled everything I could on the bike. I did a 2-3 rides on the bike changing control parts here and there but I wasn’t able to get it to fit me, it's just a little too big for what I want. This bike is really neat and has the WTB suntour pro grease guard bottom bracket, although I replaced the open bearings with new Phil Wood bearings, will include the bottom bracket press tools. Whole bike has been stripped and rebuilt with new cables/housing for derailleurs and brakes, as well as proper surfaces cleaned/greased. Derailleurs, brakes and shifters have been disassembled, cleaned and properly reassembled. Both hubs were overhauled with new philwood grease. Both rims trued and brought to correct tension. I set the wheels up tubeless and installed new Panaracer Gravelking tubeless tires which make it ride like a dream. I tried to add as much info but if you need just ask for questions or pics!
