Description: 1990 - 2009 "S" PCGS 69 RD Deep Cameo Proof Lincoln Cent 23 Coin Set Including the 4 2009 Special Release Lincoln Bicentennial CoinsUp for sale is a 23 coin PCGS 69 1990 - 2009 Lincoln Proof "S" cent set. These cents are all certified as nearly technically flawless at PCGS 69 and are all DCAM or Deep Cameo certified coins. These coins are very nice and will remain that way due to the PCGS plastic encapsulation. The coins in the picture may or may not be the coins you will receive as I have more than one set to list. I have priced this set at a point less than what it would cost to purchase all of these coins separately.These 23 coins represent both the last of the 50 year Lincoln Memorial Reverse series which was produced from 1959 through 2008 as well the 4 special anniversary release 2009 Lincoln cents (the precursor to the latest Lincoln Shield coins which began in 2010 and continue to date) . In 2009 the mint produced 4 special anniversary cents for the 200th birthday of Abraham Lincoln which also happened to be the 100th anniversary of the first Lincoln cents produced in 1909. Each of the 2009 four designs are described below.2009 Lincoln Cent First Release (Birth & Early Childhood) Reverse Description: A log cabin representing the Lincoln birthplace and early homesite dominates the reverse of the Lincoln Birth and Early Childhood Cent. Below the land line, the initials RM designer Richard Masters (left) and JL for sculptor Jim Licaretz (right) appear. The denomination ONE CENT wraps along the rim at the bottom, while the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA runs along the top. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and Lincoln’s birth year 1809 are inscribed below the cabin on the earth (arguably an exergue). The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM is inscribed in two lines below the capitol steps. The denomination ONE CENT wraps counterclockwise along the rim at the bottom, while the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA runs clockwise along the top. Below the land line, the initials JI for designer Joel Iskowitz (left) and DE for sculptor Don Everhart (right) appear.
