1980 Leica M4-2 35mm Rangefinder Camera Leitz Canada Rapid Winder Black MR Meter

Description: Up for sale is a 1980 Leica M4-2 (1529705) made in Canada. The body is in decent shape. It has some wear on the film rewind knob, and wear on the sides of the top plate from a strap. So light scratches on the back of the top plate by the eye piece. This body needs a CLA. There is some hazing in the viewfinder, and the shutter speeds are inconsistent. That being said, this would be a great every day carry for someone once it has been CLAd. The body has just been rewrapped with leather. Comes with the original warranty card and instruction manual. Rapid winder is in excellent condition. No corrosion, batteries have always removed before storage. The MR Meter is responsive to light, unsure if the metering is correct. I just put a fresh battery in the meter.
