Limited production 1 of 1302 produced. car design is based on the Belvedere and GTX. The Roadrunner was produced from 1968-1980. The Roadrunner name rights were purchased from Warner Brothers studios for $50,000 and the classic 'beep-beep' horn cost 10,000 to develop. This was the last year of the convertible option. Each Roadrunner was equipped with monster 440 big block with a 6 pack. (3-2 bbl. carbs). Dana 60 rear axle with a 4.10 gear ratio. A real beast! This item comes new in original box. Never displayed. Box is bright and very clean but not perfect. Never displayed outside the box. Opened once to verify the original purchase and then for these spectacular photos. Super high gloss plum crazy purple with tons of shiny chrome features. Extreme details and fine craftsmanship. Premium detailed plumbed and wired 440 engine and entire compartment. Opening hood, doors and trunk. Real rubber tires that roll and turn. Working suspension and rotating driveshaft. Moving shifter, opening glove box, working shifter and folding sun visors. Windows actually roll up and down and rear windows are removeable. Folding seats with seatbelts. Detailed trunk with spare tire. Custom Georgia license plates. Completely detailed undercarriage with headers and dual exhaust. Antenna has not been attached. White soft top and boot still in packaging. Small package contains miniature Roadrunner decals and floor mats. Amazing!! Car is 11 inches long and extremely heavy. Weighs just shy of 3 full pounds! One of the finest pieces I have ever owned.
