Description: 14 scenes from the Seattle Worlds Fair in 1962. Unposted. The Gayway was the space-oriented amusement zone at the Seattle World's Fair. The Gayway had 20 rides which were either brand new or especially redone for the Fair. Presented as an accordion style set of 4”x6” images. They are double-sided, so really 8 segments with full-color front and back. They were meant to be mailed as one book, if they were going to be, so there’s only one image that’s printed with a space for mailing address. In the tiny print along the edge it reads: “Seattle Washington, April 21 - October 21, 1962. Century 21 Exposition Inc. Published by CP Johnston Co, Seattle, WA. Natural color by Mike Roberts, Berkeley 2 Calif.” Images are noted as: 1. Front cover, Space Needle with address / stamp field 2.
