This picture of President Eisenhower shows him arriving at Walter Reed Army Hospital May 10, for a "head to toe" checkup after which he was given a clean bill of health by his physicians. The chief executive suffered an intestinal disturbance early this morning and was taken to the Army hospital. An electrocardiogram examination showed no indication of any heart trouble and the doctors emphasized that "this is not a heart case." An x-ray of the abdomen revealed a partial obstruction of the terminal section of the small intestine. White House News Secretary James Hagerty said no one can say at this time whether surgery will be necessary. At left with the president in this photo is Major General Leonard D.
