This is a vintage gold plated on solid silver and enamel fob medal from the Northumberland & Durham Championship. It is engraved with "One Mile, (4 x 400 yards) Relay, Senior" on the back. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1951 with maker's mark F&S. It is in good collectable condition with few signs of age and use wear. There is one tiny chip in the enamelling near the H in Championship but no other damage to the enamelling or metalware. The medal measures approx. 29mm in diameter excluding any loops.
