Description: Offered here is a vintage 1950s NEW TESTAMENT--CONFRATERNITY VERSION. This New Testament is a paperback and is pocket size. The translation is a revision of the Challoner-Rheims version. This book has beautiful full-color illustrations (see list in the 5th photo with this listing). The book is in good pre-owned condition--complete and intact with no torn pages and with no hand-writing or signatures. It looks like a front fly-leaf page may have been removed. It has a variety of tudy helps (Introduction to each book, a 17 page section on Cross References, a five page Historical Index, a 23 page Table of References, Epistle and Gospel listing for Sundays and other Holy Days, a Topical Outline for Reading the New Testament, and two maps. (map of Palestine and a map of Paul's Journeys). I found this at a sale some time ago and purchased it to include in my collection of Bibles, Missals and other Religious Books (and because it's almost identical to a Bible I had as a child). Now, however, at my age (81 yrs.) it's time to break up the book collection and offer books for others to appreciate, use, and enjoy.
