Description: Up for sale is a 7 x 11" photo that has been produced from my original old negatives of Meade View Company postcards, a company that sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns and views in the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like, only better, since we cleaned up the negative, sharpened the image, and printed it from a .tif file, with glossy format on quality photo paper. The back of the photo is blank. This is a view of the surf crashing on Kennebunk Beach, Maine in the late 1930's/early 40's. Great detail, more visible in the actual 7x11" photo, of summer "cottages" in the background, with lots of old autos parked along the sea wall.
