Description: 1930s-40s Effanbee Dy-Dee Baby Doll 20” Rubber Body Applied Ears Vintage This old baby doll is in good vintage condition. Could use a little cleaning in places!! Please note that the body is made of rubber and head of hard plastic, but despite her age, the doll does not smell of any rot, just a normal scent of rubber. There is some slight crazing on her arms, but nothing outside normal for that age. A few areas on the head show where the paint has worn away. This doll has applied ears so could be from the 1940s. Sleep eyes open and close, right eye has missing eyelashes. All joints work. Originally The doll could be fed through her open mouth. Tubing ran from the mouth to her buttocks where a plug allowed her to wet on demand. Not sure if it works now? The doll's outfit is not original but age-appropriate. Dress could be washed. This doll is sold as found on estate sale. Lots of old charm! Please see all pictures for details.
