Green moiré cloth binding, with gilt decoration to upper board and spine. Size: 4to (28.8cm x 23cm).Good overall condition. Plates well preserved. Minor handling marks / blemishes that appear intermittently in the text in some of the blank margins. Slight lean to binding. Spine rather faded and with pale stain. Minor wear to cloth at head and foot of spine. Corners a little creased. Minor pale staining to spine, which is also a bit faded. Corners slightly rubbed and bumped. 6cm scratch to rear board. Hinges and binding quite solid. Light age-toning to leaves. Occasional small handling marks / blemishes to a number of pages, for example pp 14-15, pp 102-103, and others, but these almost always in the blank lower margin, away from text and plates. Page 41 with light overall spotting. Short closed tear to foot of one leaf [pp 11-12], but well away from text.
