Description: Available for your consideration is a hardcover copy with dust jacket of the 1924 vintage book "7th Heaven" by John Golden. Dust jacket is in very nice condition and has a protective cover on top of it. This book is a bit scandalous for it's time based on the Austin Strong play with illustrations by Willy Pogany. Set in Paris on rooftops and attics, this is the story of Chico and Diane and how he picked her up out of the gutter where she has fallen into prostitution. He falls in love with her but then goes off to war and returns blinded. It was a blockbuster hit when made into a silent movie that garnered three Academy awards! Please see photos for condition of the actual item you will be receiving. Enjoy your purchase! I look forward to keeping you satisfied with great customer service.
