Qualities include four extremely sharp corners, gorgeous color & image quality, a fresh vibrant appearance, white borders, and a fine reverse side. This is the hobby's #1 example with no other cards graded at this level. Appears to have been recently removed from a cigarette pack!Provenance: this stunning card comes from an original collection (complete C55 set) discovered in Canada over 18 years ago. The collection had been perfectly preserved since the time the cards were removed from cigarette packs in 1911. We have never seen a comparable accumulation of C55s in such pristine condition. The hobby's only Mint condition C55 George Vezina (SGC 9) came from this same collection.Fred "Cyclone" Taylor is featured here on only his second hockey card with the Renfrew Creamery Kings (aka Renfrew Millionaires). Taylor was a prolific scorer during his 22-year professional career and is considered one of the first "big name" stars of hockey.
