This is a 1908 check from Detroit & Charlevoix RR of East Jordan Mich. (I guess they RR was small enough they did not make their own pre-printed checks as most, their name is handwritten and the check is of The State Bank of East Jordan). The check is made out for $1.52 to the Delaware Lackawanna & Western RR (DL&W RR). There is a hole in the center of the check with 3 radiating ½” each tear lines. Nearly invisible when laying flat. Some age staining/discoloration Excellent old ephemera!
