It is from N.H. Winchell's The Geology of Minnesota: Final Report, 1872-1882, published by the Geological and Natural History Survey of Minnesota, (Minneapolis: Johnson, Smith & Harrison, 1884), a facsimile copy of the title page is included for authenticity. The author's name and title of the publication appears on the map above the title block. The name of the lithographer, Julius Bien, appears in the lower left margin. It is not matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic.Size: The map area measures 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches on a 9 1/4 by 12 1/2" page with margins all around as shown in the pic. Condition: The map is in Very Good condition, blank on reverse, printed on a buff page, basically as seen in the pics. There is light tonal ageing and darkening around the edges, otherwise it is very clean and would frame up nicely, printed on heavy paper, see the pics for more on condition.
