Description: Almost Uncirculated Bolivia Spanish Colonial cob silver 8 reales (dollar) coin. Catalog: Calico-524. Struck 1753 during the short reign of King Ferdinand VI at the Potosi Mint (mint mark P, assayer q). Well struck on thick uneven planchet, approx 31 x 33mm, 27.16g. Two dates: (753), one denomination (8), three mint mark (P) and two assayer letter (q), full cross. Certified by PCGS to AU 55. Slab has normal height and width, but thick holder to accommodate the thick coin flan. Very nice in hand!
