Description: These are original vintage photographs from the year 1899 and featuring portraits of 2 sisters, Bertha & Margaret Partenheimer of Massachusetts. The photograph is in sepia color and has an image orientation of portrait. They are a 1/6th plate size and comes with a black or dark brown thermoplastic Union Case with a geometric scroll design. The case is octagonal in style and has a matte finish. These photographs are in the case and are housed behind a glass and metal frame. I believe these to be some type of albumen photograph There is identification on the back of both images. There is also a piece of paper that reads “the Critchlow house was the Partenheifers’ home when Bertha and Arthur L. Currier were married there June 30, 1909.” Bertha Partenheimer Currier. This product was manufactured in the United States. Condition: Excellent with no cracks but with one corner chip as shown in the last photo. Both mats have spots on them. Glass & preservers are excellent. Hinges tight. Clasp does not fully snap closed but might be adjusted to do so. Please see photos. I strive for five stars.
