Description: The Henry VIII Book of Hours is a handcrafted, hardbound miniature reproduction containing selected pages of a manuscript created in Tours, France in 1500 illuminated by the artist Payer. It is thought to have been created for and used by King Henry VIII of England. This volume consists of 56 pages not including the colorful end pages and measures 7/8 inch wide by 1 and 1/16 inches long by 5/16 inch thick. The books are constructed using traditional bookbinding techniques and other techniques I have developed for miniature books. I personally make each book.
